Huon Hooke, Top Aussie Red, The Sydney Morning Herald. 21 October 2008
“This could be the best-value pinot noir on the market. A delightful lighter-bodied red with cherry and foresty pinot aromas, hints of spice and earth, good depth of flavour and persistence. Even better with food. Drink within five years. From south-west WA.”
Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front, December 2008
"Tasty wine this and only available from cellar door. I have a feeling that over the coming years we’ll see some interesting Pinot coming out of the more southerly bits of WA…. It smells and tastes of cherry cola with some earthiness and a slight hit of resinous oak. There’s a crisp acid attack, juicy fruit and a good solid dryish finish. Tasty wine, no great complexity, but great quaffing fun."
